Over the Seas From Skye

On 12 and 13 October, 2012 the Scottish Government will launch its Community Broadband Scotland initiative at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on Skye. The event is taking place in conjunction with a celebration of the support given by Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the University of Edinburgh and the University of the Highlands and Islands for the delivery of superfast broadband to some of the most remote communities in Scotland, which are, quite literally, over the seas from Skye.

This website is for information about the event. If you are interested in attending please look here for details of whom to contact. The programme will be posted here as it takes shape. Please note that the current structure is provisional and is there just to give a guide to the general timing.
